About 2 hours drive south and inland from Bunbury is an interesting place called Donnelly River. It's a small village in the middle of nowhere built around a now derelict timber mill, and appears to have been taken over by kangaroos, emus and chickens which roam freely (although fairly tamely) about the village.

Most houses are now holiday homes, although very few are occupied.
